Kasia Davies

I am a HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist and a member of British Psychological Society (BPS) as well as Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice (AFT). My private practice is based in Sunbury-on-Thames and I have run it since 2010. I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Psychology and trained in Systemic Therapy. I’m experienced in providing individual, family and couples therapy. I also work with children and adolescents. Having graduated in 2008, I worked for a London based charity providing services to migrants, as well as in a therapeutic community with people experiencing severe mental health problems. I also supported individuals and their families affected by health problems and disabilities.

I meet clients on a weekly or fortnightly basis and offer both short-term and open-ended therapy. Before therapy starts, an initial assessment is carried out to determine the problem and decide upon the best next steps. Following the first consultation, we decide the most suitable type of support. At this stage you also get an opportunity to decide whether you’re happy with my approach and would like us to continue working together.

Specialities: relationship and family difficulties
